3 Gorgeous Cities That Live Up To Their Reputation
1. Seoul, South Korea
If you haven't been to Seoul, you need to plan a trip there right away. This city is a fascinating mish-mash of old and new, contemporary skyscrapers and bright lights to traditional palaces, temples and pagodas. Be it winter, spring, summer or autumn, Seoul is a great destination to visit all year round. It is incredibly convenient and easy to get around the city thanks to its subway! 2. Queenstown, New Zealand
New Zealand is world renowned for its natural beauty and friendly people. Everywhere you look, every turn you make, you are bound to soak in on all the goodness New Zealand has to offer. In particular, Queenstown will appeal to outdoor enthusiasts in search of an adrenaline rush - from kayaking, jet-boating and skiing to hiking, bungee jumping and white-water rafting, there's nothing thrilling you can't do there. Those who like to take things slower can most definitely do leisurely trips at the wineries there or hop on a quiet cruise. A picnic with the dramatic Southern Alps as a backdrop doesn't sound bad at all! Find out more about South Island in our New Zealand travel guide here.
3. Florence, Italy
Truth be told, Italy has an abundance of beautiful cities and it is really hard to just pick one. But for sheer, untouched Italian beauty, Florence gets my vote. Also known as the birthplace of the Renaissance, it isn't surprising Florence is home to resplendent architecture, piazzas, cathedrals, art museums, galleries and of course, filled to the brim with rich culture. For an utterly captivating trip unlike any other, perhaps you could consider strolling down the cobblestone streets and ducking into random alleys or churches. Don't forget to treat yourself to authentic gelato and the beautiful sunset over the Arno river while you are at it!
