About Grace

Grace Cheng is co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of GET.com, and is responsible for setting the company's strategy, with her eye for detail.

Fresh out of university, trained as a scientist, but clueless about the world at large, she was determined to learn about trading and personal finance, and so embarked on a journey to learn everything from scratch, all by herself. Her personal success as a forex trader and blogger led to her being the author of "7 Winning Strategies For Trading Forex" (2007, Harriman House, UK), and subsequently named as one of the ‘new kids in cyberspace' by Financial Times.

With an aim to help people better understand the basic financial necessities of life such as credit cards, insurance and mortgage, she established DailyMarkets.com, which is now GET.com. From 2007-2008, inspired by veteran investor Jim Rogers' adventurous drive around the world, she traveled non-stop around the globe to 14 countries, from the US to South America, Europe, Middle East, Africa to Asia, while trading and blogging. She has been featured in the Financial Times, Chicago Sun Times, ABC News, Channel NewsAsia, The Sunday Times, Chicken Soup for the Soul, and many other media. She loves to travel, try out new restaurants, and play with her adorable babies during her free time.

About Pedro

Pedro Pla is co-founder and CEO of GET.com. Pedro has been interested in technology since he can remember, and wrote his first Basic program on an APPLE II when he was 8 years old.

At 14 years old, he started web development and created a web based email system. By the age of 19, he was CTO of an international travel company where he developed online travel booking systems.

In 2007 he decided to leave the corporate world behind and travel around the world with his wife Grace, while working on what was to become GET.com. While traveling, he saw how much they could save from the research they did online, and it inspired him to work on a site to help everyday consumers save money by reviewing and comparing products. As the technical lead at GET.com, Pedro applies his experience as a nerdy software developer to create tools that save consumers time and money by gathering information and deals from across the web in real-time.

How We Rate Credit Cards

At GET.com we compare credit cards and rate them objectively based on the credit card's features, interest rates and fees.

Cards are rated by our team based primarily on the basis of value for money to the cardholder. The GET.com team rates each card based on its annual fee, rewards, benefits, bonus, interest per annum, privileges and flexibility (in how benefits can be used and how rewards are earned and redeemed), and other card features.
